The Freeman Company is seeking a Lead Freight Ops to oversee show-site dock operations in Orlando, FL. This full-time, in-office and show-site role requires leading a team, coordinating labor, and ensuring safety and accuracy in payroll and paperwork.

You will interact with customers, sales, and operations, manage equipment readiness, and minimize costs while maintaining top service. This role is essential for large and smaller shows alike.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of trade show or related experience is required.
• Must be able to pass the MVR screen.

Responsabilités

• Lead dock labor at show site by assigning qualified personnel to perform work to be done.
• Adhere to safe operations practices to reduce and control safety violations.
• Lead loading and unloading show site dock operations at show site.
• Professionally interact with customers, sales, and operations staff to provide the best customer service experience.
• Ensure that equipment and tools needed to produce the assigned show are in place and ready for use.
• Remove malfunctioning equipment from service and assist with the return after the show.
• Ensure that labor needs have been requested and submitted.
• Follow set hours of operation and labor at show site.
• Ensure that all paperwork procedures are followed as outlined in the Freight Procedures Manual.
• Confirm that advance freight delivery to show site has been arranged.
• Ensure that job costs are kept to a minimum without sacrificing service to customers.
• Provide excellent customer service and protect company against liabilities.
• Produce accurate payroll forms and time cards for hours worked.
• Participate in corporate, branch, and freight operations training; lead show site safety meetings.
• Comply with all Freeman policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
