Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business/finance/accounting.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in transportation systems/ freight.
• Freight audit and payment experience required.
• Knowledge of shipping modes, tariffs and pricing.
• Strong analytical and data processing skills; ability to work with global teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient in Excel and Access.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret carrier freight contracts and audit invoice payments.
• Identify invoices not in alignment with pricing and service agreements.
• Investigate potential errors and duplicates in carrier billing.
• Audit freight bills and interpret tariffs and contracts.
• Support audit plan development and data requirements with IT.
• Train and mentor less experienced analysts; assist in client reporting.
