Job summary

Sony Engagement Platform Services (SEPS) is seeking a Senior Fraud Strategist to identify emerging fraud risks, shape scalable mitigation strategies, and deliver measurable improvements across global platform operations. You will partner with SIE Fraud, Risk and Identity teams and collaborate with product, engineering, analytics, data science, and external partners.

The ideal candidate has deep fraud subject-matter expertise, strong judgment, and a track record of leading complex fraud

Qualifications

• 8+ years in online fraud risk mitigation or related field
• 3-5+ years in fraud strategy, product management or related role
• Deep understanding of fraud typologies, risk scoring, identity abuse and payments risk
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven approach
• Proven ability to manage complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders
• Ability to translate complex fraud concepts into clear recommendations
• Collaborative mindset across product, engineering, analytics, operations and partners
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute fraud strategy, roadmaps and supporting capabilities across SEPS
• Translate fraud risks into functional and technical requirements backed by data
• Lead fraud mitigation workstreams across cross-functional teams
• Monitor evolving fraud trends across digital and physical goods and accounts
• Evaluate and improve fraud platforms, rules, and risk signals to reduce false positives
• Develop business cases, value assessments and executive summaries
• Define and track fraud metrics, dashboards and reporting frameworks
• Provide guidance as a fraud SME to partners
• Document repeatable processes and playbooks for monitoring and risk workflows
• Coordinate with global colleagues across time zones
• Uphold honesty, trustworthiness and ethical conduct
