Truist is seeking a senior leader to design and govern a comprehensive fraud risk management program across the enterprise. You will guide oversight, develop risk assessments, and drive KPI-based reporting to executives.

The role requires deep operational fraud risk expertise, strong collaboration with strategy and operations teams, and the ability to mentor staff while promoting a compliant, risk-aware culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalently combination of education and experience.
• Ten years of banking or related management experience.
• Five years of management experience with direct supervisory responsibility.
• Strong operational and fraud risk management knowledge, leadership and decision-making skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; experience designing, developing, implementing and executing risk programs.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and guidance.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; ability to influence change.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Design, establish and execute fraud risk management program and oversight framework that ensures identification, assessment, monitoring, reporting, and mitigation of operational fraud risk.
• Provide ongoing oversight of the company's fraud risk management activities.
• Develop and maintain fraud risk assessments, including periodic updates to identify potential gaps in controls and recommend enhancements.
• Ensure KPIs are developed and tracked; identify gaps and report to executives.
• Serve as an operational fraud risk expert for risk managers on complex assignments.
• Collaborate with Fraud Strategy, Fraud Operations, and first-line teams to incorporate emerging threats into strategies.
• Report to executive management on the effectiveness of fraud capabilities.
• Track and monitor fraud issue remediations using GRC tools and report status to management.
• Ensure program components meet regulatory expectations and align with best practices.
• Stay current on emerging issues and share learning with the team.
• Support development and growth of teammates through coaching and mentorship.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across business units.
