Job summary

GitLab seeks a Technical Program Manager within Trust and Safety to coordinate cross-functional fraud and abuse prevention workstreams across engineering, product, legal, and finance. You will translate abuse trends into defense measures and drive projects to completion with a strong ownership mindset.

You’ll leverage AI to identify risks, define concrete requirements for product teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement secure defenses.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical program management, security program management, or trust & safety with SaaS/payments exposure.
• Proven ability to drive cross-functional fixes to completion without direct authority.
• Familiarity with fraud patterns and risk management in digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Be the connection between T&S, Engineering, Product, Legal, Finance and others to drive cross-functional fraud/workstreams.
• Translate abuse/fraud trends into defense measures and secure buy-in from stakeholders.
• Own and prioritize projects with bias for action to keep GitLab secure.
• Turn abuse trends into quantified requirements and business cases for product teams.
• Leverage AI to identify and triage fraud risks across GitLab.
• Collaborate with Finance and Billing on fraud controls including chargebacks and verification.
• Define metrics for abuse/fraud exposure and report outcomes to leadership.
• Identify and escalate high-impact abuse campaigns and operational work.
