Choice Hotels International is seeking a Senior Analyst, Financial Account Management to manage a portfolio of franchisee accounts and drive timely receivable collections. This role balances financial risk with preserving valuable franchise relationships and collaborates across Finance, Franchise Sales, Operations, and Legal.

The position is onsite 4 days a week in North Bethesda, MD and not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in commercial collections, accounts receivable, or related field.
• Experience independently managing a portfolio of complex accounts.
• Experience negotiating payment arrangements and resolving disputes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to assess financial risk and develop recommendations.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-management skills; capable of navigating difficult conversations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage high-volume portfolio and priorities.
• Proficiency with office software; intermediate+ Excel skills; Oracle Fusion Cloud or Salesforce experience.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a designated portfolio of franchisee accounts with end-to-end collection accountability.
• Monitor accounts receivable balances, aging, payment trends, and indicators to identify delinquency and risk.
• Develop and execute account-specific collection strategies based on financial position and relationship.
• Establish contact strategies and maintain communication with franchisees on balances and obligations.
• Negotiate payment arrangements within policies and authority.
• Maintain documentation of collection activities and account status.
• Evaluate delinquent accounts and determine next steps within policies and authority.
• Provide recommendations for payment settlements, defaults, suspensions, and other actions.
• Develop recommendations for franchise termination when collection efforts are exhausted.
• Escalate complex or high-risk situations to leadership and stakeholders.
• Partner with Legal for default and termination processes and ensure documentation.
• Identify emerging portfolio risks and report trends to leadership.
• Build relationships with Franchise Sales, Operations, Legal, Finance; communicate delinquency and risks.
