Job summary

Choice Hotels International, Inc. is seeking an Analyst, Financial Account Management to oversee a portfolio of franchisee accounts and support timely receivables collection. The role partners with leadership and internal teams to address delinquent accounts and recommend actions, including settlements and terminations where needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-3+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, credit, customer financial services, finance, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to conduct professional and sometimes difficult conversations regarding financial obligations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate account documentation.
• Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently within established guidelines while recognizing when escalation or additional guidance is appropriate.
• Ability to develop productive working relationships with both external customers and internal business partners.
• Experience working across Sales, Operations, Legal, Finance, or similar business functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day collection activities and follow-up across an assigned portfolio.
• Monitor accounts receivable balances, aging, and delinquency to identify actions.
• Contact franchisees regarding past-due balances and set clear payment expectations.
• Execute collection strategies per policies and leadership direction.
• Facilitate payment arrangements within guidelines and escalate as needed.
• Document collection activities and account status accurately.
