Job summary

Choice Hotels International, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst, Financial Account Management to oversee a portfolio of franchisee accounts and drive timely receivable collections. The role balances financial recovery with sustaining valuable franchise relationships.

Onsite 4 days a week in North Bethesda, MD, the position requires strong financial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to influence internal stakeholders across Finance, Franchise Sales, Operations, and Legal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent).
• 4+ years in commercial collections, accounts receivable, credit, or financial ops.
• Experience managing a portfolio of complex accounts.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a territory and portfolio of franchisee accounts with end‑to‑end collection accountability.
• Monitor receivables, aging, and payment trends to identify risk.
• Develop and execute account‑specific collection strategies.
• Negotiate payments within policy; establish contact strategies.
• Escalate high‑risk situations to leadership and stakeholders.
• Document collection activities and account status.
• Support franchise termination processes when necessary.
• Collaborate with Legal on enforcement actions and documentation.
