Job summary

Lattice Semiconductor Corp seeks a Product Test Engineer to join the team. You will create test plans, design FPGA test circuits, and build automation scripts for pre-silicon verification.

Responsibilities include executing post-silicon validation across wafer- and package-level platforms and coordinating root-cause analysis with cross-functional teams to ensure silicon readiness. Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering with 8 years of industry experience, or MS degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering with 6 years of industry experience.
• Experience with semiconductor devices and test methodologies.
• Experience in ATE test program development, integration and debug on Nextest Magnum, Advantest T2K or Teradyne UltraFLEX preferred.
• Experience in IC characterization and/or failure analysis using bench tools (oscilloscope, pattern generators, data timing generator, multimeters)
• Experience with WAT/etest, wafer sort, package assembly, final test (full backend IC process).
• Experience in Programmable Logic, RTL Design and Design Verification is an advantage.
• Knowledge in test, DFT methodologies (scan, BIST), memory test, fault grade methodologies is an advantage.
• Knowledge in Verilog or VHDL and programming languages (Python, C++) is beneficial.
• Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to collaborate across cultures.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans using established methodologies targeted on chip IP functions and features.
• Design and implement test circuits using FPGA fabric and embedded IP with Lattice’s design software.
• Develop scripts to automate test generation and own Pre-Si verification to ensure silicon readiness.
• Execute Post-Si pattern validation across wafer-level, package-level, and bench platforms under varying process/temperature/voltage.
• Identify root causes of product marginalities and coordinate closures with cross-functional teams.
• Take ownership of IP content development and drive issues to resolution.
• Plan and deliver test content to meet schedules for internal and external customers.
