Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is based in West Los Angeles, CA, and is seeking a Senior FPGA/RTL Design Engineer- Signal Processing to join the FPGA Engineering team. The role spans from concept to field deployment for Silvus' MIMO wireless systems.

The candidate will perform RTL coding, simulation, and timing closure, with a strong emphasis on fixed-point DSP and multi-clock-domain designs. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 6+ years FPGA design experience; 4 years with a Master of Science; 2 years with a PhD.
• Experience with fixed-point binary arithmetic and digital signal processing designs.

Responsibilities

• Digital design architecting for wireless projects.
• RTL coding, simulation, and test bench development.
• FPGA synthesis and timing closure.
• Hardware verification and troubleshooting; familiarity with logic analyzers.
• Provide support to RF and Software Engineering teams.
