Job summary

L3Harris in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Senior Specialist, Electrical Engineering FPGA to architect and develop next-generation FPGA-based Safe and Arm devices for DoD applications. You will work on Verilog/SystemVerilog design, verification, and C# microcontroller interfaces in a fast-paced hardware-rich setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of relevant experience; graduate degree 4+ years; in lieu of degree 10+ years experience.
• Knowledge using Verilog for logic design.
• C for embedded systems development and optimized code.
• Experience with lab tools: logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, JTAG/ICE debuggers, protocol analyzers.
• Familiar with hardware, software and firmware development methodologies for quality and time-to-market.
• Experience with version control systems (SVN, GIT, or TFS).
• Digital design, HDL usage (Verilog, VHDL).

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, define architecture, design and debug FPGA and firmware.
• Develop Verilog HDL targeting antifuse and enhanced Flash FPGAs.
• Analyze functional issues or performance with hardware and firmware in test environments.
• Contribute to hardware-firmware quality and time-to-market improvements.
