Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Specialist, Electrical Engineer to join our Palm Bay, FL team. The role focuses on electronics design, schematic capture, and mixed-signal circuitry across digital, power, analog, and FPGA-based solutions. You will collaborate with IPTs and support cost and schedule milestones.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with high-speed memory interfaces, FPGA work, and hardware debugging tools, and can obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 6+ years of related experience; or 4 years with graduate degree.
• Strong hardware design experience across digital, mixed-signal, and analog.
• Ability to work in an IPT environment with cross-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform CCA design with mixed-signal circuits (A/D, D/A, processors, I/O).
• Design using Xilinx FPGAs, DSPs, microcontrollers and memory (DDRx).
• Create schematics, constraints, layouts, simulations, and timing analyses.
• Collaborate with Systems, Mechanical, Software, Firmware, and other Engineers.
• Support cost/status milestones and participate in customer reviews.
