Job summary

Terranova Talent Solutions seeks a Senior FPGA Logic Design Engineer to develop firmware for DO-254 compliant projects across requirements, design, coding, testing and hardware integration.

You will apply deep VHDL/Verilog expertise, digital logic design principles and rigorous verification while collaborating with a cross-functional team and mentoring junior engineers; occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 7+ years of progressive hardware/firmware engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently estimate task durations and meet deadlines.
• Adhere to PLD development methodologies and standards.
• Develop firmware for small to large-scale changes.
• Create and review firmware requirements and design artifacts.
• Code, test, debug, and review firmware.
• Integrate firmware into existing system architecture.
• Develop verification and bench testing.
