U.S. Bank is seeking a senior executive to design future state Financial Planning & Analysis processes with a focus on enabling a business performance management system that connects strategy, financial plans, and operational plans and execution.

The role emphasizes AI-native planning, enterprise IBP, and xP&A capabilities, with cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Strategy, HR, Sales, and Technology to create a unified enterprise operating plan.

Qualifications

• Enterprise FP&A, planning, forecasting, and performance management expertise including OPEX, CAPEX, drivers, and scenario economics.
• Integrated Business Planning and xP&A design capability connecting operational drivers to financial outcomes and leadership decisions.
• Strong process architecture and operating model design including governance, cadence, and decision rights.

Responsibilities

• Partner with FP&A leaders to design AI-native planning, forecasting, scenario, and insight-generation processes.
• Assess and implement an enterprise IBP model with governance, cadence, and leadership inputs.
• Ensure FP&A processes support IBP by aligning cycles, forecasts, and executive decisions.
• Define and advance xP&A capabilities linking operational plans to financial outcomes.
• Drive planning coherence by aligning assumptions, drivers, timelines, and outputs across functions.
