Job summary

FIS is seeking a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to support the Banking and Capital Markets Professional Services business. You will drive planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and strategic initiatives, partnering with senior stakeholders to influence business outcomes through data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of FP&A, Corporate Finance or Strategic Finance experience.
• Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, budgeting processes and financial statements.
• Ability to translate data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with influence at multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to support strategic programs and drive financial performance.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models for forecasting and planning.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and operational metrics to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Support annual planning, quarterly forecasts, monthly reporting, and long-range planning.
• Create and validate analyses that measure initiative performance and business impact.
• Review and reconcile financial, workforce, and operational data across planning systems for accuracy.
• Translate complex financial information into executive-ready recommendations.
• Leverage large datasets and BI tools to uncover insights for growth and efficiency.
