Job summary

Bicara Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director of FP&A in Boston to lead full P&L consolidation and reporting. The role acts as a finance business partner to the Development team, supporting R&D pipeline activities and manufacturing/supply chain operations.

The position is based in Boston with a hybrid schedule (three in-office days per week). You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow, partnering with senior leaders to drive strategic financial insights.

Qualifications

• BS in Finance/Accounting.
• 6+ years of relevant experience with at least 2+ years as a finance business partner.
• FP&A experience in a commercial biotechnology or pharmaceutical company preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and reporting experience.
• Ability to distill complex operational and financial topics to management-level narratives.

Responsibilities

• Lead full P&L consolidation and reporting.
• Serve as system administrator for FP&A software (Adaptive Insights, Workday).
• Drive monthly budget-to-actuals process and provide insights to leaders.
• Prepare cash flow forecast to support runway planning.
• Identify opportunities to streamline planning and reporting processes.
