Job summary

Monte Rosa Therapeutics, Inc. in Boston seeks a Senior Manager, FP&A to own planning, forecasting and analytics across operating expenses.

You will partner with department leaders to translate strategic priorities into credible financial plans and play a key role in annual planning, quarterly reforecasts, monthly close and Board reporting. You will build driver-based models, support cash/runway forecasting and work on pricing, contracts, and capital planning with a strong emphasis on controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 7–10+ years in FP&A, corporate finance or accounting.
• Ownership of multiple budget/forecast cycles with senior leaders.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Strong accrual accounting and month-end close experience.
• Biotech/life sciences background with NetSuite and EPM familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Own annual operating plan, quarterly reforecasts, long-range plan.
• Build driver-based models for headcount, costs, spend and allocations.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly variance analysis and forward-looking commentary.
• Contribute to cash forecasting, burn/runway analysis, Board materials.
• Model CRO/CDMO contracts, collaborations, equipment, software, infra.
• Model headcount, compensation cycles, recruiting and payroll forecasts.
• Coordinate month-end close and expense accounting with policy alignment.
• Improve FP&A processes, templates, self-service reporting; SOX readiness.
