Job summary

AlertMedia is seeking a Senior FP&A Manager to own the financial planning and forecasting end-to-end. You will report to the VP of FP&A and partner with business leaders to deliver clarity on performance, drivers, and opportunities.

You will manage revenue forecasting (ARR), operating expense plans, headcount modeling, variance analysis, and board reporting. The role requires 7+ years in FP&A, expert Excel, NetSuite, and hands-on use of AI tools to enhance modeling and storytelling.

Qualifications

• 7+ years owning financial planning and forecasting end-to-end.
• Expert-level Excel modeling from scratch.
• Hands-on with Claude or similar AI tools for modeling and reporting.
• Strong SaaS financial acumen: ARR modeling, churn, cohort economics.
• NetSuite experience or ability to master financial systems.
• SQL familiarity is a plus.
• Understand drivers and strategic implications.

Responsibilities

• Own ARR forecasting methodology and monthly reforecasting cycles.
• Build and maintain annual operating plan financial models; consolidate departmental expense submissions.
• Model headcount planning and operating expense across departments.
• Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy and reporting workflows.
• Deliver monthly budget-to-actual variance analysis with root-cause narratives.
• Work with business leaders to understand drivers and provide analytics support.
• Communicate headcount status and compensation dollars to partners; explain variances.
• Lead drafting of board reporting materials with financial narratives and charts.
• Partner with Accounting to support timely financial close.
