Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, or related field.
• Master’s degree, MBA, or other advanced degree preferred.
• 5–7 years of related experience in budgeting/forecasting/financial analysis.
• Experience with financial controls, audit support, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, multi-year financial plans, and year-end projections.
• Own monthly/quarterly financial performance reporting and variance analysis.
• Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases for strategic initiatives.
• Prepare concise financial presentations and dashboards for senior leadership.
• Advise on budget development, spending plans, and funding strategies.
• Monitor budgets and partner with stakeholders to address variances and optimize expenses.
• Support financial planning for national laboratory activities and related contracts.
• Coordinate with university finance teams and partners on reporting and submissions.
• Maintain internal controls and compliance with policies, US GAAP, and grant requirements.
