Job summary

The University of Chicago seeks a financial contributor to coordinate operating and capital budgets across divisions. You will support quarterly/year-end reporting, invoicing, and financial forecasts under the Senior Director’s guidance. Required are 3+ years in accounting/finance, a Bachelor’s in a related field, and strong Excel-based modeling. Office-based role with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent.
• Three years of accounting/finance experience or equivalent.
• Financial modeling experience.

Responsibilities

• Reporting/analysis for SDU, including projections and data verification.
• Submit and track monthly invoicing under external billing agreements.
• Produce ad hoc reporting for Senior Director and Executive Administrator.
• Assist in annual operating budget development.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable for timely payments.
• Support chart of accounts usage and financial forecasting.
