Job summary

Associated Bank is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead strategic financial planning and analysis for the Consumer Lending business line.

You will partner with senior leaders to drive forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and modeling, while overseeing a team of financial analysts and delivering executive-level insights. This is a full-time role based in Chicago, with strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business Management, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive financial analysis, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or banking experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and analysis activities for the Consumer Lending business, including forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and financial reporting.
• Partner with business leaders to evaluate financial performance, strategic initiatives, investments, and business opportunities.
• Oversee the development and enhancement of complex financial models to support decision-making and performance management.
• Manage and develop a team of financial analysts, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
• Present financial insights, recommendations, and executive-level reporting materials to senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial planning processes, forecasting methodologies, and analytical capabilities.
• Serve as a key liaison between finance and Consumer Lending leadership to align financial strategies with business objectives.
• Establish and reinforce consistent financial planning standards, best practices, and reporting accuracy across assigned areas.
