Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a strategic FP&A leader for a high-impact contract role in San Francisco. You will partner directly with senior leadership to drive business performance, long-range planning, and executive decision-making.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in FP&A or related finance roles, with advanced modelling, forecasting, and strong communication skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of FP&A or related finance experience.
• Experience supporting high-growth tech, SaaS, fintech, or public company environments preferred.
• Advanced financial modelling, forecasting, and data analysis skills.
• Expert-level Excel and modern FP&A platforms experience.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting methodologies, and performance metrics.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and communicate with executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning across multiple functions.
• Partner with senior leaders to evaluate performance, resource allocation, and initiatives.
• Develop sophisticated financial models, scenario analyses, and executive dashboards.
• Deliver insights through variance analysis, KPI reporting, and trend identification.
• Analyze operating expenses, headcount investments, and performance vs. objectives.
• Prepare presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and reporting enhancements.
• Support quarterly reviews, strategic planning, and ad hoc analyses.
