The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in FP&A or related finance roles, with advanced modelling, forecasting, and strong communication skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of FP&A or related finance experience.
• Experience supporting high-growth tech, SaaS, fintech, or public company environments preferred.
• Advanced financial modelling, forecasting, and data analysis skills.
• Expert-level Excel and modern FP&A platforms experience.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting methodologies, and performance metrics.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and communicate with executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning across multiple functions.

LHH is partnering with a highly respected, global technology organization headquartered in San Francisco to identify a strategic finance professional for a high-impact contract opportunity. This role is ideal for a seasoned FP&A leader who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and enjoys partnering directly with senior leadership to drive business performance, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making.

This position offers significant visibility across the organization and will play a key role supporting long-range planning, executive reporting, investment analysis, and cross-functional business partnerships. The successful candidate will combine strong financial acumen with exceptional analytical and communication skills, enabling them to translate complex business data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes across multiple business functions
• Partner with senior leaders to evaluate business performance, resource allocation, and strategic initiatives
• Develop sophisticated financial models, scenario analyses, and executive-level dashboards to support critical business decisions
• Deliver meaningful insights through detailed variance analysis, KPI reporting, and trend identification
• Analyze operating expenses, headcount investments, and organizational performance against strategic objectives
• Prepare presentations and financial materials for executive leadership and key stakeholders
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting enhancements that increase accuracy and operational efficiency
• Support quarterly business reviews, strategic planning cycles, and ad hoc analyses for leadership teams

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
• 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or related finance functions
• Experience supporting high-growth technology, SaaS, fintech, or public company environments strongly preferred
• Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis skills
• Expert-level Excel capabilities and experience with modern financial planning and reporting platforms
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting methodologies, and performance metrics
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and communicate financial concepts to executive and non-finance audiences
• Highly analytical with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment
