Job summary

Stem, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead the FP&A function across the company. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis, partnering with CFO and finance leadership to set strategic plans and ensure budgeting discipline.

You will direct financial models for revenue, opex, headcount, cash flow, and unit economics, while delivering variance analysis and executive commentary. This role requires strong leadership and GAAP expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or consulting.
• 3+ years of leading a team of managers/analysts.
• Experience in high-growth tech or energy with software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Translate strategy into functional FP&A plans and guide execution.
• Create leadership, board, and investor-ready materials.
