Job summary

Westlake Chemical Corporation in Houston is seeking a Senior Director, FP&A to lead enterprise budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. You will partner with segment and business-unit finance teams to translate strategy into financial targets and drive cost control and margin optimization.

You will build KPI frameworks, scenario analyses, and dashboards, while guiding capital allocation decisions and ensuring executive-ready insights for the CEO, CFO, and Board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or FP&A in a multi‑segment environment.
• CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and presentation of financial reports and executive analyses for senior leadership and Board meetings.
• Standardize processes, reporting, and KPI metrics across segments for coherent performance analytics.
• Develop and maintain an enterprise KPI framework and executive dashboards linking metrics to outcomes.
• Synthesize complex financial and market information into actionable insights for strategy and capital allocation.
• Support capital allocation decisions, evaluating projects and productivity initiatives.
• Serve as FP&A liaison to CEO, CFO, CAO, Treasurer and segment leadership on planning and forecasting topics.
• Identify and implement tools to improve FP&A efficiency, including AI and digital solutions.
• Lead long-range strategic planning and consolidation of Operating and CapEX plans across Westlake.
• Oversee investor materials and talking points for earnings and investor relations.
• Mentor and develop FP&A talent with succession planning and rotational opportunities.
