Job summary

Westlake Chemical Corporation in Houston seeks an Associate Director, Business Insights to lead enterprise-wide BI and strategic analytics, turning financial, operational and market data into actionable insights for senior leadership.

You will oversee a team, partner with the VP Finance, and design dashboards (Power BI) that weave macroeconomic indicators with internal data to support forecasting, scenario planning, capital deployment and long-range planning.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field is required.
MBA or related master’s degree is desirable.
CFA/FRM or similar designation desirable.
10–12 years progressive experience in business analysis, FP&A, or economic/market analysis.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary business insights partner to the VP Finance with forward-looking analysis.
Lead design and execution of a business insights strategy integrating financial, commercial, and economic indicators.
Present insights to executive leadership, tailoring messages to audiences.
Oversee dashboards (e.g., Power BI) with macroeconomic data and internal metrics.
Integrate external data sources with internal data for a comprehensive view of performance drivers.
Perform regression analysis and econometrics to identify drivers and forecast outcomes.
Build forecasting, scenario, and sensitivity models linking economic drivers to performance.
