Job summary

The Simplot Company in Boise, Idaho seeks a Senior Business Partnering Director to lead the AgriBusiness Retail FP&A team and partner with senior leadership across finance and operations. You will consolidate, analyze, and communicate financial information, drive planning, and deliver insights for resource allocation and strategic decisions.

You will champion financial systems improvements, support incentive planning, and coordinate with Controllership and Treasury, Technology, and Data Science

Qualifications

• Progressive leadership experience in financial planning and analysis, finance business partnering, or a related finance function.
• Experience designing and continuously improving repeatable planning processes that align with operational and commercial business rhythms.
• Experience partnering with senior business leaders and cross-functional teams in a complex organization.
• Strong financial acumen across planning, pricing, supply chain finance, valuation, and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AgriBusiness Retail FP&A team in financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and performance management.
• Drive standardization of processes and improve the quality and consistency of financial analysis; communicate plans to stakeholders.
• Prepare and facilitate financial review meetings, delivering meaningful insights for accountability.
• Coordinate with Controllership for financial statement reviews and analysis of results.
• Define and lead improvements to operational finance activities with AP, Credit, financing, and policy compliance.
• Lead development and adoption of financial planning technologies, tools, systems, and data solutions.
• Translate complex financial information into practical analysis, recommendations, and decision support for leadership.
• Provide leadership and development for direct and indirect team members; build cross-functional partnerships.
• Contribute to finance strategy, policies, procedures, and broader functional priorities as part of the finance leadership team.
• Coordinate finance-related work across Technology and Data Science, Corporate Finance and Treasury, and Controllership.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field

Master's degree or equivalent advanced education is not essential but encouraged
