Job summary

Strata Decision Technology is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to help plan for the future by supporting expense planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. You will partner with the VP of Finance and business leaders to translate activity into financial insight and strengthen cost visibility.

You will carry out forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and KPI tracking across departments, leveraging automation and data insights to guide resource allocation and growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive finance, FP&A, accounting, or related analytical experience with responsibility for expense planning & reporting.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with NetSuite/Adaptive Insights or similar platforms.
• Ability to synthesize financial data and communicate conclusions to non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience using automation, BI, and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting and planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance expense forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning models across departments.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly expense reporting including variance analysis and KPI tracking.
• Partner with leaders to develop spending forecasts and improve cost visibility and accountability.
• Analyze operating expense drivers (software, infrastructure, marketing, travel) to support allocations.
• Build scenarios and business cases evaluating spending, cost savings, and investments.
• Improve recurring reporting via templates, automation, and finance systems.
