Job summary

AEVEX Corp. is seeking a Sr. FP&A Analyst to lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support our strategic goals.

You will build complex financial models and reports, analyze data, and provide insights to senior management for informed decision-making. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with project accounting, general accounting, business development, and program operations, with a hybrid work model and potential travel.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Government contracting business (DoD or other agencies).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with ERP systems and extracting data and report writing.
• Willingness to learn Power BI or similar and implement processes utilizing the tools.
• Knowledge of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of financial data, including budget variances, revenue trends, cost drivers, and KPIs.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on analysis to support business objectives.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Build out complex financial models and reports for the department and executive management.
• Prepare and distribute financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and other stakeholders.
• Utilize financial planning software and tools to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and enhance reporting capabilities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and align financial plans with business objectives.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance financial planning and analysis processes.
