Job summary

Sierra Space seeks a Senior FP&A Analyst to lead budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial planning. You will deliver detailed analyses, prepare financial reports, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or Masters +6 yrs experience).
• Typically 8+ years of related experience.
• Recent experience in leading teams both formally and informally.
• Experience with management consulting, data analytics, finance, or other quantitative or analytical roles in business, program, or operations management.
• Experience in a finance-related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Schedule Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts, or Procurement Financial Analysis.
• Experience with advanced features in Excel (i.e., Pivot Tables, Vlookups, etc.).
• Knowledge of DoD, government contracting, and/or public auditing policies, labor rate composition.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Perform detailed analyses and prepare comprehensive financial reports and projections.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Maintain knowledge of DoD contracting and public auditing policies to ensure compliance.
• Lead and mentor team members to foster professional growth and effective execution of FP&A initiatives.
