Qualifications

• Experience in finance-related positions (e.g., Financial Operations, Cost Management, Scheduling, Accounting, Estimating, FP&A).
• Experience collecting data from multiple sources and communicating data.
• Advanced features in Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookups).
• Knowledge of DoD/government contracting and public auditing policies.

About the Role

The Sr FP&A Analyst is responsible for leading the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. This role involves performing detailed analyses, preparing comprehensive financial reports and projections, and supporting various financial planning and analysis activities. The analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and ensure that financial plans are accurate and aligned with the company's objectives. This position requires recent experience in leading teams both formally and informally.

In this role, you will lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans to ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives. You will perform detailed analyses and prepare comprehensive financial reports and projections, providing actionable insights to support informed decision-making. Supporting various financial planning and analysis activities, you will help ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will gather necessary information for financial planning and utilize data analysis tools to perform detailed financial analyses. You will prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and transparency. Additionally, you will maintain knowledge of DoD, government contracting, and public auditing policies, including labor rate composition, to ensure compliance and effective financial management. As part of your leadership responsibilities, you will lead and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and successful execution of financial planning initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or Masters +6 yrs experience).
• Typically 8+ years of related experience.
• Recent experience in leading teams both formally and informally.
• Experience with management consulting, data analytics, finance, or other quantitative or analytical roles in business, program, or operations management.
• Experience in a finance-related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Schedule Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts, or Procurement Financial Analysis.
• Experience collecting data from several sources, performing analysis, and communicating data.
• Experience with advanced features in Excel (i.e., Pivot Tables, Vlookups, etc.).
• Strong business analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of DoD, government contracting, and/or public auditing policies, labor rate composition.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Certifications: CPA, CFA, or FP&A.
• Proficiency in financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with financial planning and analysis best practices.
• Experience in preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management.
• Proven track record of leading financial projects or teams.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

Compensation:

Pay Range:

$116,697.00 - $160,457.25

Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case‑based basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education,experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
