Job summary

SafeBreach is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst on the East Coast United States to own the financial planning and analysis function. You will lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, and executive reporting with direct access to the CFO and leadership team.

The role focuses on SaaS metrics, revenue forecasting, and cross‑functional partnering with Sales, Marketing, HR, and Accounting to drive business performance.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of FP&A experience, including at least 2 years in B2B SaaS or software.
• Proven ownership of a full annual budget cycle and rolling forecasts with expert three‑statement and driver‑based modeling.
• Deep understanding of SaaS metrics and ARR-based revenue models, with working knowledge of ASC 606.
• Experience presenting directly to C‑level executives; board or investor exposure is a plus.
• Daily, hands‑on use of AI tools in finance, with examples of practical applications.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Own the annual budget, monthly rolling forecasts, and quarterly reforecasts. Analyze budget variances and partner with department heads on financial planning.
• Executive & Investor Reporting: Prepare management reports, board presentations, and investor materials. Present financial insights and recommendations directly to the executive team.
• SaaS Metrics & Analysis: Track key metrics such as ARR, NRR/GRR, churn, CAC, LTV, and burn multiple to support strategic decision‑making.
• Go‑to‑Market Partnership: Partner with Sales and Marketing on revenue forecasting, pipeline analysis, capacity planning, commissions, and marketing ROI.
• Accounting & Compliance: Collaborate with Accounting on month‑end close, revenue recognition (ASC 606), audits, and tax‑related analysis.
• AI & Automation: Use AI tools to improve financial modeling and reporting, automate recurring processes, and reduce manual work across the finance function.
