Verisign is seeking a Sr Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in Reston, VA. You will support the Director, FP&A and manage the financial planning and analysis for the MPC business unit, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

This role emphasizes partnership with MPC management, accurate reporting, SOX compliance support, and delivering actionable insights to guide strategic decisions. A hybrid work schedule in Reston, VA is offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years of finance or accounting experience.
Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze financial and operating data.
Hands-on experience with financial modeling, accounting, and audit principles.
Experience in a matrixed environment and ability to prioritize tasks.
Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with ERP systems, ideally Oracle Financials.

Responsibilities

Assist in zero-based annual budgets and quarterly forecasts including OPEX and headcount.
Provide OPEX and direct marketing analysis with actual vs. budget.
Analyze financial performance, create and present ad hoc reports.
Develop and maintain vendor-level trending analysis.
Support month-end close activities and SOX reporting requirements.
Partner with Director, FP&A and MPC management to forecast and interpret financial implications.
