Independence invites applications for a Senior Financial Planning Analyst to lead expense allocation, provide actionable insights, and support key financial initiatives across the organization. You will own Administrative Expense Allocations, FEP Expense Management, MLR QI Allocation, and Audit Support, partnering with business units and across FP&A, actuarial, and compliance.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting, 6+ years FP&A, advanced Excel, and strong communication

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; 6+ years FP&A or financial analysis experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling, automation).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; experience with expense allocations and financial reporting.
• Proven track record in process management and improvement.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Experience supporting financial audits.

Aufgaben

• Lead end-to-end Administrative Expense Allocations across segments and lines of business.
• Own tracking, analysis, and reporting of all expenses for the FEP line of business.
• Manage the MLR QI allocation process with cross-team coordination.
• Serve as FP&A contact for audit activities and respond to auditor inquiries.
• Support forecasting and budgeting with detailed expense analytics.
