Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Charlotte, NC to collaborate with the Finance Director and cross-functional teams to support forecasting, budgeting, and weekly outlooks. The position is hybrid (3 days in office) with opportunities to influence key financial decisions, develop robust models, and drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• Support monthly investment tracking across Americas sites to inform business decisions.
• Assist 80/20 analysis with weekly outlooks, forecasts and budgets, with variance commentary.
• Coordinate meetings and data collection for 80/20 Bowlers and ad hoc reporting.
• Analyze financial performance and deliver actionable insights to leaders.
• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting and planning.
• Monitor and report on key financial metrics and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly investment tracking by partnering with R&D and Operations teams across Americas sites and divisions to provide financial insights that inform business decisions.
• Support 80/20 analysis and tracking, including preparing estimates for weekly outlooks, forecasts, and annual budgets, while providing commentary on key variances.
• Coordinate monthly meetings and data collection for 80/20 Bowlers, as well as support ad hoc reporting requests.
• Analyze financial performance and deliver actionable insights and recommendations to business leaders.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and planning activities.
• Monitor and report on key financial metrics and KPIs.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting effectiveness.
