Optum is seeking a Financial Consultant in Draper, Utah for a full-time, hybrid role. You will partner with finance and operations leadership on forecasting, financial performance analysis, and executive-level insights across Utah and Idaho markets.

The ideal candidate has a finance-related degree, 2+ years in financial analysis or FP&A, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable guidance for senior leaders. Some travel or overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related role
• Analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis
• On-site work at 12921 S Vista Station Blvd, Draper, UT 84020
• Full-time schedule Mon-Fri, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm MST with possible overtime

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning, Forecasting, and Performance Analysis: quarterly forecasting and monthly variance analysis across key drivers
• Develop financial bridges and executive-level insights to explain performance
• Partner with finance and operations leadership to identify risks and opportunities
• Executive Communication and Business Partnership: translate results for senior leadership and prepare presentations
• Process Improvement and Automation: develop financial models, reporting tools, and workflows
• Provider Compensation and Incentive Calculations: quarterly calculations of provider productivity and incentives
• SG&A Management: close, cost tracking, and efficiency initiatives
• Acquisition Analysis and Presentation: support analyses on provider groups and network deals
• Strategic and Ad Hoc Analysis: manage ad hoc requests from Sr. Management
