Job summary

Optum Senior Financial Analyst in Denver, CO will partner with senior operational and medical leadership to perform regular and ad-hoc financial analyses to drive the performance of clinics. You will manage provider compensation calculations, budgeting, and variance reporting while engaging with Sr.

Management. The role requires translating complex concepts for diverse audiences, presenting plan results, and contributing to multi-year financial analyses within a Fortune 5 health-care leader.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive professional experience in finance and/or accounting
• 4+ years of FP&A experience
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, advanced formulas)

Responsibilities

• Perform provider compensation and incentive calculations and develop reporting for Sr. Management
• Forecasting and budgeting with department leaders; develop cost/benefit analyses
• Oversee month-end revenue processes and variance analyses
• Support acquisitions analysis and presentation, including discounted cash flow
• Present compensation plans to physicians and educate on incentives
