Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking a dedicated finance lead for BridgeCare, its locum tenens staffing business. You will own placement tracking, margin analysis, P&L creation, and forecasting, acting as a trusted partner to the BridgeCare Director and shaping strategic decisions.

You will work with Excel-based models, develop pipeline forecasts, and collaborate across Finance and Business Development, leveraging AI tools to automate recurring analyses and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• 3+ years in FP&A, staffing finance, or a related analytical role.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret placement and margin data and present conclusions to leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make financial information clear to non-finance audiences.
• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor, managing competing priorities and tight deadlines without a supporting team.

Responsibilities

• Placement Tracking & Margin Analysis: Tracks placement volume, fill rates, and assignment-level detail; monitors bill rate and pay rate spread; flags margin erosion or pricing opportunities.
• P&L Creation & Reporting: Builds and maintains monthly P&L; reconciles with source data; prepares monthly and ad hoc financial reviews for leadership.
• Forecasting: Owns revenue and placement forecast; updates projections with pipeline activity and booked assignments; stress-tests assumptions.
• Pipeline Development & Business Development Partnership: Partners with Business Development Finance Manager(s) on sales and placement pipeline; evaluates financial case for prospective placements.
• Strategic Planning: Supports market/specialty expansion and scenario analysis; prepares ad hoc analyses for leadership.
• Cross-Functional Partnership & Process Improvement: Serves as finance point of contact across FP&A, Accounting, and Business Development; uses AI tools to automate recurring reporting.
