Job summary

NorthStar Care Community seeks an FP&A Manager to lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis across its entities. You will partner with the CFO to translate data into insights guiding growth, margin, and operations.

Responsibilities include developing complex models, managing the budget cycle, dashboards, and reporting, and driving efficiency with AI and automation. Healthcare nonprofit experience and strong Excel/BI skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
• 5+ years of progressive FP&A or related financial experience.
• Healthcare/nonprofit experience preferred.
• Advanced modeling and BI skills; proficiency with AI-enabled tools.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leads annual operating and capital budget process across all NSC entities, programs, and departments in partnership with senior finance leadership.
• Owns the rolling forecast and the long-range financial plan by service line and entity.
• Develops and maintains complex financial models supporting growth and strategic decisions.
• Collaborates with the Finance Team on monthly financial reporting.
• Owns the shared/corporate expense allocation methodology across departments and entities.
• Directs variance analysis and operating reviews; identifies drivers and recommends actions.
• Leads labor productivity, cost per patient day, and margin improvement analytics; works with operations to size savings.
• Develops dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools; ensures data integrity and self-service access.
• Prepares recurring and ad-hoc analyses for Leadership Council and Board reporting.
