Syneos Health is seeking a Proposal Specialist to join our team in Morrisville, NC. You will support the creation of compelling proposal budgets and text, coordinating with BD, SMEs, and operations to ensure timely submissions.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, negotiation, and project management, with opportunities to develop strategic skills and contribute to winning bids in the CRO/pharmaceutical industry.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in business or health-related field or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in proposal preparation in CRO/pharma preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; email and voicemail.

Responsibilities

• Receives and analyzes Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from Business Development (BD) and assigns Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Prepares and modifies proposal text, budgets, and cover letters in response to RFPs and rebids.
• Ensures proposal text and budgets align with RFP, client specs and internal assumptions.
• Obtains third party quotes as needed.
• Manages the proposals process and stage gates from RFP receipt to proposal delivery with limited manager support.
