Job summary

Cepheid, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, General & Administration, to partner with G&A leaders and drive accurate budgets/forecasts. Based in Sunnyvale, CA, this on-site role involves month-end closes, variance analysis, and strategic financial support to accelerate business planning and profitability.

The role reports to the Director, Global FP&A and offers exposure to cross-functional projects within a global life sciences organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field with 4+ years of FP&A experience.
• Understanding of accounting processes, procedures and internal controls.
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• ERP/planning applications experience (SAP/OneStream preferred).

Responsibilities

• Act as business partner for G&A Leaders and review monthly actuals, forecast variance, and provide recommendations.
• Prepare and distribute monthly/quarterly management review packages.
• Evaluate results to plan and perform variance analysis for management decisions.
• Perform in-depth financial and operational analysis and forecast modeling (OPEX, headcount, capex).
• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve profitability.
• Conduct ad-hoc planning and analysis to support the business and senior management.
