Job summary

The Fountain Group in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an FP&A Analyst to drive financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. You will manage month-end close, support headcount and Opex forecasts, and partner with Marketing to review forecasts and trends.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years FP&A experience, strong Excel skills, and a track record of improving financial reporting and budgeting processes. This is a 1-year engagement based in Sunnyvale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of FP&A experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Experience with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Forecasting headcount and operating expenses for planning purposes.
• Strong financial modeling and historical/forecast analysis abilities.
• Solid accounting processes and internal controls knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills including macros, PivotTables, and lookups.
• Experience in financial reporting and database-based data analysis.

Responsibilities
