Job summary

CTDI, a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company, seeks a Senior Analyst, FP&A to conduct quantitative analyses affecting budgets and financial projects. You will collect and analyze financial information for the assigned business unit and create financial models to guide decisions.

Responsibilities include cash flow analysis, forecasting, budgeting, invoicing oversight, and developing reports. Strong Excel/Oracle skills and a detail-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years’ experience in a financial role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Oracle, MSExcel and MSAccess or other data management experience.
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
• Ability to work well in a matrix-structured environment.
• Proactive problem-solving ability.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists with analyzing cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments to make recommendations for action and/or modifications regarding financial procedures, plans, and controls.
• Performs daily profit and loss forecasting and analysis.
• Monitors the financial inventory control process.
• Working with branch management prepares annual budgeting.
• Monitors client invoicing, AP, and AR for accuracy and completeness. Will prepare customer invoices or work directly with the Billing Team to prepare them.
• Builds databases and develops queries and calculations for financial reports.
• Analyzes and evaluates key elements of the assigned customer's program such as 3rd party expense analysis, order activity trends, inventory control and key performance metrics.
