Job summary

CITGO Petroleum Corporation is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst - FP&A to analyze profitability, support business decisions, and deliver management reports. You will reconcile economic and GAAP profitability, and share FP&A best practices across Finance, Risk, and Commercial teams.

The role emphasizes advanced analytics, model development, and leadership in FP&A initiatives, with opportunities to drive performance improvements and strategic insights within CITGO’s U.S. operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or another quantitative or business-related discipline.
8 years of related experience.
Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, or comparable tools.
Experience with SAP and financial data reconciliation.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Risk, Commercial, and operations.

Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance management reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) to assess economic and financial results and driver impacts.
Analyze profitability against plans; create forecasts and reconciliations for tactical and strategic decisions.
Provide FP&A support and share best practices with team documentation and training.
Develop models and documentation for scenario analysis and decision support.
Lead special FP&A projects and contribute to new systems initiatives.
