Job summary

CITGO Petroleum Corporation seeks an FP&A Analytics & Technology Manager to lead automation, data solutions, and reporting architecture for finance. You will shape scalable Power Platform solutions, enhance data governance, and standardize KPI methodologies while partnering with IT, Risk, and business units to improve decision support.

The role requires strong expertise in Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SQL, Alteryx, and GAAP-aligned reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of job-related experience.
• Advanced FP&A reporting, analytics, dashboarding, and financial modeling for management reporting.
• Strong proficiency with Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, DAX, dataflows, semantic models, Alteryx, SQL, and related automation tools.
• Knowledge of finance data architecture, data lakes, integrations, mapping, lineage, controls, access management, and reporting governance.
• Experience partnering with IT and business teams on systems integration, user testing, issue resolution, documentation, change management, and operational support.
• Familiarity with GAAP, ERP, ETRM, SAP, Oracle, EPM/FP&A platforms, MtM to GAAP, commodity risk, and financial reporting drivers.

Job Summary

The FP&A Analytics & Technology Manager serves as FP&A’s central leader for automation, data solutions, reporting architecture, and technology. This role advances digital transformation across FP&A and Finance by building scalable Power Platform solutions, strengthening data governance, standardizing reporting and KPI methodologies, enabling AI adoption, and partnering with IT, Risk, Accounting, FP&A, the other business analyst, and business unit stakeholders to improve decision support, consult on data models and solutions, and drive operational efficiency.

• Lead Finance automation, data solutions, business intelligence, reporting architecture, and technology enablement across FP&A and enterprise financial reporting.
• Design and support Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, AI-enabled tools, Alteryx, SQL, and related finance reporting models.
• Partner with business analyst, and business unit stakeholders to consult on data models and deliver integrated, secure, scalable, and sustainable finance technology solutions.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for finance data architecture, BI tools, automation, KPI definitions, and emerging technologies.
• Strengthen data standards, governance, quality controls, security practices, and reporting methodologies to improve reliability and consistency.
• Drive process improvement, automation, duplicate reporting elimination, and reuse of enterprise datasets, applications, and automation assets.
• Support CITGO’s AI strategy by developing FP&A use cases, best practices, and scalable adoption opportunities aligned with strategic technology priorities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; 8 years job related experience

Job Duties

• Finance technology platforms, reporting models, and automation: Lead Finance automation, and technology enablement across FP&A. Design, build, optimize, and support Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, AI-enabled tools, Alteryx, SQL, and related financial reporting models, workflows, and dashboards.
• Data architecture, governance, controls, and reporting standards: Serve as the subject matter expert for finance data architecture, BI tools, KPI definitions, and enterprise data reliability. Establish data standards, governance, quality controls, mapping integrity, lineage, access controls, and consistent reporting methodologies.
• Process improvement, model support, and reusable assets: Identify opportunities to streamline Finance processes, eliminate manual work and duplicate reporting, and promote reuse of enterprise datasets, applications, workflows, reporting models, and automation assets while ensuring support continuity and documentation.
• IT, business stakeholder, and systems partnership: Partner with IT, Risk, Accounting, FP&A, and business teams to deliver integrated, secure, scalable, and sustainable finance technology solutions. Support systems integration, user testing, issue resolution, process improvement, and accurate financial reporting, including MtM to GAAP.
• Finance technology operating model, AI strategy, and adoption: Advance a coordinated Finance technology operating model across FP&A, and Finance. Support CITGO’s AI strategy through practical use cases, best practices, responsible AI-enabled tools, scalable adoption opportunities, knowledge transfer, and stakeholder adoption of standardized data, reporting, automation, and technology practices.
