Job summary

Vericel Corporation, a leader in regenerative medicine, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for assigned business areas. You will partner with functional leaders to translate data into actionable insights, support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly reporting, and drive financial performance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of FP&A or related finance experience.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis.
• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills.
• Experience presenting results to finance leaders.
• GAAP understanding.
• Analytical with ability to derive insights.
• Strong organization and prioritization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently with cross-functional collaboration.
• Attention to detail with big-picture view.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting and forecasting for assigned functions with functional partners.
• Understand key business drivers and incorporate into budgets.
• Develop financial models for operating plans and forecasts.
• Identify risks and opportunities and communicate impacts.
• Support consolidation of company budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.
• Analyze monthly/quarterly performance against budget and forecast.
• Explain variances and trends to leadership.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Partner with leaders to understand financial performance and outlook.
• Serve as FP&A partner for assigned functions and leaders.
• Guide resource allocation, headcount planning, investments, and other decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and processes.
