Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience in FP&A or related roles, preferably supporting R&D or life sciences.
• Experience building driver-based financial models (FTE capacity, program costs, CRO/vendor spend).
• Experience deploying AI-enabled tools and automation to improve planning accuracy.
• Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, executive-ready recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning cycles: annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, monthly outlooks, and long-range planning for Discovery Research and Preclinical Sciences.
• Develop driver-based models translating research activity into actionable planning assumptions.
• Provide financial insights for headcount, external collaborations, CRO/vendor spend, and lab operations.
• Support stage-gate portfolio reviews with scenario modeling.
• Drive FP&A automation and digital transformation within the team.
