Job summary

Nurix Therapeutics is seeking a proactive FP&A finance business-partner to own budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and close support for Research and G&A. This high-ownership role requires collaboration across Finance, Accounting, and Research teams in a fast-paced biopharma setting.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years FP&A experience, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and a passion for process automation. Location is Brisbane, CA, onsite, with a focus on SOX/GAAP compliance and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of FP&A or finance experience in biotech/pharma
• Experience with Planful and NetSuite a plus
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Analytical, resilient, and able to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting and forecasting for Research and G&A in partnership with department leaders
• Deliver timely quarterly reporting and budget-vs-actual analysis with variance commentary
• Manage quarterly accrual close for Research per SOX controls and GAAP
• Own revenue recognition for Research collaboration agreements (ASC 606)
• Support annual financial planning and long-range planning processes
• Partner across Finance, Accounting, Research, and G&A to support decisions
• Build/improve financial models and scenario analyses for Research and G&A
• Evaluate processes and systems to drive efficiency, including automation/AI
