Job summary

Nurix Therapeutics is seeking an FP&A professional to own budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and close support for Research and G&A functions in a fast-paced environment. This high-ownership role partners across the organization to deliver accurate financial insights.

You will manage quarterly budget-to-actuals, build financial models, and contribute to long-range planning, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of FP&A or Finance experience, biotech/pharma a plus.
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of areas.
• Experience with Planful and NetSuite is a plus.
• Interest in automation/AI is a plus.
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Analytical, resilient, and flexible with a solutions-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting and forecasting for Research and G&A in partnership with leaders.
• Deliver timely quarterly reports and budget-to-actual analysis with variance commentary.
• Manage quarterly accrual close and revenue recognition for Research collaborations (ASC 606).
• Support annual financial planning and long-range planning.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Research, and G&A for decision-making and ad-hoc analysis.
• Build and improve financial models and scenario analyses for Research and G&A.
• Evaluate processes and drive efficiency improvements, incl. automation/AI.
