Job summary

Publicis Groupe is seeking a Sr. Analyst FP&A in Chicago to support the BI team and CFO through consolidation, variance analysis, and client profitability reporting.

You will gather data from Salesforce, prepare budgets, and develop HFM templates for agencies, while driving process automation and insights. The role requires 3+ years of analytical experience, a degree in Accounting/Finance, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to adapt to changes in scope of position.
• Team player, self-starter, adheres to deadlines with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal & written communication; detail-oriented and organized.
• Able to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Salesforce & SmartView experience.
• Media experience or Horizon/Pigment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect agency projections and ensure accuracy before consolidation.
• Consolidate financials and analyze variances.
• Gather business development data in Salesforce including pitches and trend analysis.
• Perform complex variance analysis of actuals vs forecast/budget for all P&L items.
• Provide client profitability reporting and insights on margins.
• Create HFM templates for agencies to use in presentations.
• Produce budget/forecast presentations.
• Prepare monthly reports and KPI analyses for close cycles.
• Identify automation opportunities and support ad-hoc projects.
• Explain financial reports to business leads and maintain HFM structure.
